Had my final laser thing today on the left eye. That one is much more sensitive to light and I have a headache so didn’t go back to work. Then talked to my Mom, she has been sick but went to urgent care and is feeling better today. She has fakebook to keep up with all the grandkids and sent me this pic of the boy. He’ll be 30 in September
Abby went to the vet as the medicated shampoo isn’t enough to stop her itch in addition to the apoquel and Zyrtec daily already,. The steroid shot helped a lot, but for a short time and I’d rather not use steroids. She had Cytopoint today which could last four to six weeks.
Sending that out to the Universe 
We are also adding a fish oil supplement for omega fatty acids. The goal is to get her off the daily meds and only use Zyrtec as needed so we have additional options later. I asked about testing for food allergies but she’d have to be off all meds for a week or two to get an accurate test. I don’t think now is the time to do that based on her itchiness. I also have the option of changing her over to a limited ingredient diet for eight weeks and try different proteins to see how she does. We switched from chicken to lamb already and the food is grain free. We did see improvements in other areas but that had no impact on the itch factor. She’s resting comfortably though
Finally, new chicks. In light of recent events both in this country and around the world, I’m back to chickens per a strong push from hubs. We have a plan for the yard that ensures the buns will keep almost all of the space they already have, only loosing the coop and the space immediately in front of the gate from patio to yard. We’re going to add a fence and gate from the end of the coop to the wall of the house, thereby leaving the pop door available for the chickens to enter and leave the coop. The end of the rabbit tunnel that pops out near the gate from the patio is going to have cage built over it so the buns can still hang out there, but not get out of the yard while the gate is open for the chickens. Three Speckled Sussex and two white Turkens. I had to lift the brooder plate, little stinkers. No names. I’ll get better pics when they move outside Sunday.

Thank you NFC, I’m happy it’s over! I have a few books to read lol. One on Zen Buddhism, one on permaculture, and two by Stephen King. The SK books will be first, either The Institute or Billy Summers. Have you read either of those? I’ll probably read Billy Summers first because it’s a hardcover so bigger print
