Fugly Farm

Took down the shelter built from junk around the yard. Nobody uses it since Elvis and Toast aren’t here to bully them. Still need to move those blocks, but I’m soaked already so tomorrow.

Used a couple of the blocks and all the long pieces of lumber to support the roof over the ducks pool. This also extends the shade a bit.

I’ll drain the pool tonight and use these pavers and bricks, plus a few more laying around here, to cover the ground under there to keep some of the mud down and prevent the ducks from digging near the blocks

Its looking great, as always, IM.

I enjoy a good lurk in your thread IM! Like nfc said you are always coming up with interesting and creative yard projects. Also my climate in the PNW is so different from yours. So I enjoy the differences.
I enjoy being in the yard, making it better for us or the animals, but change things too much per my DH :idunno

Our climates are very different aren’t they? I would love to live somewhere green where it rains a lot and with less sun.

I found where the ducks have been hiding their eggs when I watered this morning. I brought in 11 today. Scrubbed duck buckets and pool with some white vinegar and filled them up, fed the crew and then changed my shirt when I came inside. It’s muggy, cloudy with virga, and disgusting out there. Still under a heat warning today, but temps should drop a few degrees as rain chances go up in a couple days.

Heard a couple more crows this morning but the boys were right next to each other so still not sure who it was.
