I have a Cornish cross and she has a patch of feathers missing on each of her sides. It is because my rooster mates her and pulls her feathers out with his claws. I have put some of her eggs in the incubator. When they hatch, will they also have feathers missing out of her side.

This is because I know the naked chicken was made by pulling feathers out of the hen and rooster.

(My rooster has all his feathers, no feathers pulled out)

No.... and, that is not the history of turkens. Lack of feathering outside of that resulting from removal of feathers, such as rooster damage, is genetic. Lack of feathering from damage cannot be inherited.

No you are fine. If it was a genetic thing then yes. However still new to chickens. I would remove the rooster away for her for awhile.

If your chicken had feathers to begin with, it's offspring will too. Damaged feathers or torn off feathers isn't anything that's genetic when two chickens mate.

Get your hen a saddle. She's probably the roosters favorite and she will continue to be his favorite.

Again....pulling feathers from a bird will not change the genetics which it passes to offspring, that is not the origin of any fatherless breeds.

Just a little side note, I had a bantam frizzle hen who always was part naked. She would lose her feathers like she was molting, but then would never grow them back. I hatched a chick from her, and this chick has gorgeous feathers.

Regrowth of feathers from rooster damage is likely not going to happen until her next molt. Until then, do her a favor and employ a hen saddle to protect the exposed skin.....even when she is separated from the rooster, the skin is vulnerable to sunburn and other injury/damage
