My Mom is 89 and lives beside me and has a girl that stays with her that is absolutley terrified of mice and snakes. So far this summer a black snake has fallen out from under the kitchen cabinent, been in the bathtub and one laying on the back porch trying to get in. This is not making her happy.
Last night my husband left to take our son swimming and I got in the shower to enjoy some peace and quit. About the time I get all lathered up I hear the phone ring, I will let the machine get it! Well, they just kept calling back so I finall get out and rush to get to the phone dripping water everywhere, as soon as I pick up the phone the door bell rings. On the phone the lady at my Mom's is screaming that there is a huge snake in the hall and it is not a black snake! My Mom is at the front door screaming! I call my husband and ask if he has arrived at the pool already and he has. So I hang up,run to the basement, grab a rake and a empty chicken feed bag. I am thinking I can push it into the bag and carry it out. As I reach the house and flip on all the lights and catch sight of the snake, the keeper is on the phone with my husband. My son (11) had heard him on the phone with me and started grinning. My husband said "Cody do you know something about this!" He had put a very life like rubber snake in the hall right before he left to go swimming.
Revenge will be sweet!!!
