~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

But insults are the only thing he responds to! Russet thought.
“Well, considering the word of one of Cement’s gang members probably isn’t good enough for you, I could swear on my good mother’s corpse... or would you prefer blood?”
He extended his wing and revealed a bare patch of skin in what would be an armpit on a human with a blue vein streaking across it. He ran his beak along the vein before retracting the wing.
His face was mocking. “Or are you to squeamish for that? Would a hind toe swear be better? Don’t cross your primaries!”
Cement inwardly rolled her eyes at her mate. He needs to be more careful. She thought.
Suliver finally looked at Russet. "Your blood means nothing to me." He growled, curling and uncurling his toes. He looked back at Cement. "You will do a task for me. To prove your loyalty."
Cement eyed him warily. "What is it?"

“I’ll do whatever it is you need,” Russet said, more to Cement than Sulliver. His loyalty rang in those words. I would die for you, since you saved my life, they said.
“What is it then? Recovering a lost artifact? Taking out an opponent of yours? Do I need to snatch you a cheeseburger?”

”No, I'm just wondering why she's keeping valuable information from me, ” Earl said carefully. ”I feel like I should know what two crow prisoners have to do with our cause, one hardly fledged.” Bargaining chips, probably.
Do I really have to explain the plan to this antique? Azaz clicked her beak in annoyance. As she thought, another raven landed with a whoosh besides them. Shadow eyed them both. She addressed the old raven.
"Earl. Bring any news I should know about?"
*nanako shook her head no.*

Nanako: no, my speed and agility *she said with a smile.*
Rocket nodded in understanding. "You know, I really think you'd do well to join a gang. The way you attacked those gulls.. your fighting skills would be put to good use." She urged.

"Quiet!" Suliver hissed, narrowing his eyes.
"Russet is not yours to command." Cement cooed firmly.
Suliver glared at them. "That's another example of your weakness, sister. You let your underlings speak for you." He said, repositioning himself and making his razor-talons flash in the weak light of the midday sun. "When the time comes for me to call on you, I expect you and your troops to give me full obedience." He cooed, his voice, which had been low, reaching its normal volume again.
Cement saw Russet open his beak out of the corner of her eye, and shot him a look. We've almost got him. Just stay silent. She mentally urged.
"Anyway, back to the matter at wing.. your task is to find a gull for me. A gull named Salty Fries."

Claw nodded. "Sounds fine," she clicked her beak, "cat-snack,"
Claw had gone searching for Blizzard and Moonlight after making an agreement with Barky. As she circled the area for what seemed like the hundredth time, she finally gave up. "They played me!" She cawed angrily at a random sparrow, who looked like it really didn't want to be there at that point. "Those trash-eating, rotten-toe, filth-birds.." she continued to curse out the two pigeons, getting more vulgar as she went. Finally, she tipped her beak down and scratched it with irritation. "Shadow's gonna make a fuss about this," she muttered to herself, leaping off the branch and flapping heavily away.

She swung her head in the direction of the cages. "Over there." From their view point, all they could see was a huddled mass of black feathers

Thattel examined Aspen, then sighed in defeat. She obviously would never agree with him about the crows and ravens being enemies.
"You know what? We should go on a recruitment mission. I'm sure Shadow or some other high-ranker will let us." He said, trying to get her mind off the little crow. From his point of view, there was nothing to be done about Magnolia, and she was going to be released soon anyways. Maybe if Aspen sees the good things that the Resistance does, she'll change her mind and stay. He thought hopefully.
Moonlight shook her head. “No. We have discovered that one of the fugitives was killed, but we still must find the other two. And I judge that the injured gull couldn’t have gone very far. He may still be in Raven Territory, around the place where he was last seen. We should look there first. Of course...” she shook her head sadly, “I would have liked to question the pigeon, but that just can’t be helped,” she said, looking condescendingly on the pigeon remains like Angel had purposefully died in order to inconvenience them.
"From what I've heard, it's not safe in the Forest anymore." Blizzard said, carefully watching her reaction. "There's a group.. that doesn't agree with the pigeon military."

She cocked her head, thinking. After a few moments she nodded. "Yeah, that sounds fun."
