~>Fury of the Wind<~ (A Bird RP)

“Attack? Well clearly...” Ritz said, thinking back the the brave Fish Stick’s speech. Now that he thought about it, he couldn’t really recall what specific birds they were going to attack. And attacking all pigeons in general was starting to sound very stupid, because clearly there were groups like these, who were quite a mystery, gathering weapons for no apparent reason. Well, I’m sure I just wasn’t listening at that point. Because clearly Fish Sticks had preplanned their attack and wasn’t just making up a speech on the fly aided by a large not-gull who didn’t know anything about the political turmoil of the Four Territories except for what aforementioned spacey gull told him. Clearly.
My mistake. To save face, Ritz said, “That’s exactly what I’m here to find out.” He gazed knowingly at the biggest pigeon (Toren) who gave him an un-knowing face in return.)

(This is really cute for some reason. And your writing style. You know how to give characters relateable personalities and unique lingo.)
Rymi, having finally gotten over her surprise, opened her beak to say something like, You’re no match for us! Or We could beat your army any day! But then Rikka held up a wing and issued her the sternest glare yet. Rymi was sent scurrying back to the general flock.
Rikka went back to considering the trespasser. He has no idea what he’s talking about, does he? She thought dryly. Is this whole ‘gull attack’ thing just a story?
Cement was more willing to accept Ritz’s words as the truth. She had a thoughtful look on her face. He could aid us. She cocked her head. She would have to proceed carefully; this gull had a big beak. He might spill their plans to any random bird if she told him specifics. “The pigeon government.. they’re the ones that have been pressuring the gulls out of the city.” She cooed carefully. “Not my gang. Not all pigeons want to fight with your kind.”

(Thanks :D. I kinda struggled with writing Tippy until I listened to a specific song. Also, Ritz’s cluelessness/seagull-ness is amazing. XD)

“Well that’s a relief,” the gull whispered. He hadn’t really wanted to die, and he didn’t want the attack information to leak to the wrong pigeons. “Okay, if you’re not going to attack the gulls, then what are you mobilizing for?” The gulls at the dump, who were usually annoyingly chatty, had been silent as fish lately, which was strange, considering gossip was as vital for gulls as Cheetos and fish. Ritz hadn’t heard of any pigeon animosity towards the other not-gulls. Admittedly the gossip was very gull-centric. Everything lately had a single determined push towards the glory that was tangible before them, and the great spoils... the city.

(Aww thanks! I thought he was kinda odd compared to other seagulls because he’s not so ‘rustic’ due to his being a Bonaparte’s gull, but that’s just how he is. I kind of like this “scout” position more than my earlier scribbles about him.)

Cement cocked her head. It took her a moment to reply. “My gang is planning an attack the government.” She finally cooed. She purposely omitted some details, hoping that her nonspecific response wouldn’t be noticed by Ritz. However, she was confident in her plan, seeing as the gull seemed to have no idea the pigeon even had a government. This way, if the information got out to Suliver, he might think she had recruited gulls to fight for him, not against him. But, this could all end disastrous if the seabirds attacked the wrong side. She was betting on them attacking with her, which would mean against Suliver, who certainly would bring more forces than the oblivious General.
Cement nodded at the last two pigeons to dismiss them. They had other important matters to attend to. She needed to do something that she had never heard of happening before- make a treaty with the gulls.

Tippy stumbled to the ground, his sagging wings making his landing clumsy. He had flown at top speed, and it had really taken the energy out of the small pigeon. He sat there, panting, in the dust. A curious pigeon wandered up, completely devoid of caution.
“Hey, who’re you?”
Tippy stared up at her with the fear that comes from a life of living as Suliver’s personal messenger. He swallowed. This isn’t one of the boss’s thugs. He reminded himself, then instantly cringed at calling one of his gang-mates a thug, as if they would pop out of the bushes and punish him for it.
“Say.. are you okay? You’re lookin’ a bit pale there, fella.”
Tippy stared up in confusion and tucked in his wings. He self-consciously picked a piece of grass out of his feathers. Was this bird... actually concerned about him? Never mind the fact that his entire color was pale, being white, but he relaxed a bit at her words.
“I need to tell your leader an important message.” Tippy cooed.
Blizzard stared at Tippy, hoping against hope that he was just lying to him to scare him. But, the poor bird’s expression was just too fearful, too genuine.
“Thank you.. for giving me this message.” He said, and darted past the white pigeon before he could even think of a reply.
“Pigeons!” He called, standing on the customary rock. Though the much of the flock still resented him for his betrayal of Bagel Bite, the nearby birds instantly stilled to listen.
“We must flee!” Blizzard exclaimed.
“Suliver has sent pigeons to kill us!”

“Mhm,” Ritz said, bobbing his head knowingly. “But which part of the government? Are you planning to overthrow General One-Toe? With the Lieutenants? Or are you planning to remove the gang system entirely? I really need the specifics if I’m to explain this to Sebastain.” He bobbed up and down with every mention of each subdivision of pigeon government. Normally he wouldn’t be so perky around strange pigeons, but the knowledge that he wasn’t about to die in the next five minutes really gave him a new outlook on life.

The pigeons were silent for a moment ad the statement sent in. Then were the fearful murmurings. It was well known that the non-members were often hated by the gang-leaders, and the bullying from them proved them. But genocide? Wasn’t that going too far?
“Why?”
“Who told you that?” (It was pretty obvious who did, but it was merely a question of the credibility of the source.)
“Aren’t the lieutenants going to do anything to stop it?” They didn’t love the lieutenants, but they did keep things under control and stamp out infighting, or the Pigeon Territory would devolve into chaos. The pigeon who asked that last question was Squibs, by the way.
Pigeon mothers and fathers were already rushing to their nests to share the news with their mates and a watered-down version of it to their children. Though it was hard to water down such a blunt, short statement.

(Yeah, Cement definitely underestimated him XD
Who’s Sebastain? Some npc?)
Cement wanted to sigh out loud at her previous ignorant assumption. He knows more than I thought. She felt a bit more respect for the gull, having thought him to be dim-witted because he had spilled the gulls’ attack plan so easily.
What do I tell him? Cement hesitated in her reply. Finally, she decided to take a risk. This whole operation was a risk, anyway. They needed all the help they could get.
“I’m not the only one involved in this attack. A number of gang leaders and lieutenants are planning to attack the General. There’s going to be a coup.”
Hopefully Ritz didn’t think her announcement sounded like just another notgul coo.
(This rp should become a book. XD)
(YES. That would be awesome. XD If only more people had joined.. :/
Oh, and I have written some short stories in the same world as this rp, but they’re severely unedited. Most of them are set at the start of the first war, but one is based in a possible future of this rp.)
Sorry, been busy. What's going on??
(It’s alright, this rp hasn’t been very active. XD
Ok, so a number of the gang leaders and some lieutenants are planning to overthrow the General, One-Toe, because they want power and also want to expand the pigeon territories. However, this is a recent plan, and not many know about it, even the pigeons in Suliver’s own gang haven’t really been told. Meanwhile, a small group of unsatisfied gulls, lead by Fish Sticks and Riski, are planning to attack the pigeons too. The coup of the general is happening in two rp days.)
