Rymi, having finally gotten over her surprise, opened her beak to say something like, You’re no match for us! Or We could beat your army any day! But then Rikka held up a wing and issued her the sternest glare yet. Rymi was sent scurrying back to the general flock.“Attack? Well clearly...” Ritz said, thinking back the the brave Fish Stick’s speech. Now that he thought about it, he couldn’t really recall what specific birds they were going to attack. And attacking all pigeons in general was starting to sound very stupid, because clearly there were groups like these, who were quite a mystery, gathering weapons for no apparent reason. Well, I’m sure I just wasn’t listening at that point. Because clearly Fish Sticks had preplanned their attack and wasn’t just making up a speech on the fly aided by a large not-gull who didn’t know anything about the political turmoil of the Four Territories except for what aforementioned spacey gull told him. Clearly.
My mistake. To save face, Ritz said, “That’s exactly what I’m here to find out.” He gazed knowingly at the biggest pigeon (Toren) who gave him an un-knowing face in return.)
(This is really cute for some reason. And your writing style. You know how to give characters relateable personalities and unique lingo.)
Rikka went back to considering the trespasser. He has no idea what he’s talking about, does he? She thought dryly. Is this whole ‘gull attack’ thing just a story?
Cement was more willing to accept Ritz’s words as the truth. She had a thoughtful look on her face. He could aid us. She cocked her head. She would have to proceed carefully; this gull had a big beak. He might spill their plans to any random bird if she told him specifics. “The pigeon government.. they’re the ones that have been pressuring the gulls out of the city.” She cooed carefully. “Not my gang. Not all pigeons want to fight with your kind.”
