Great!Fuzzi this was such a great idea - I have steps up to the nipple waterers but this doesn't help <1 week olds who can't use the horizontal nipples yet.
Was gonna buy a canary waterer this go around with Tilly's second brood and see how that goes... but I'm gonna be using your idea and put a step or two up to it! Thanks so much for this!
I was wondering if it was pox. Carried by mosquitoes, so no escaping it here.Could it be fowl pox? If so it will just go away on its own.
Babies roosting separate from their mom would not work here, it was 56° last night.
Sorry for your loss.My sister-in-law has died. Her funeral is Monday, 700 miles away, so I'll be heading out in the morning.
I'm glad I don't have week old chicks to leave behind, all of them seem to be doing well. My sitter should be able to handle the basics.
