How's everyone else on The Fuzzi&Friends thread doing?

Looking forward to cold, snow/ice and or rain?

No! We are having a cold snap where I am and we (the chickens and I) are not impressed and it's only got to a couple of degrees below freezing.
My hands don't work properly in the cold and I'm tired of wiping my nose.
At the field the pain is in the wind chill. It can knock 5C off the shade temperature even at the normal 25mph.

Yesterday (Thursday) Ron was having what looked like seizures. We called EMS, he went to the ER, and the doctors tried to find out what was causing his flailing arms and legs. Son and I went home about 4am as there was nothing happening, and Ron was back in a delirium. He's not known me for several days.

According to the hospice nurse Ron has progressed to a point where everything is starting to shut down. He's being transferred to the palliative ward for tonight, then transferred to a hospice tomorrow.

We knew it was just a matter of time, so it's not a surprise. And his faith tells him where he will be as soon as he dies.

@Molpet what's it doing in the U.P. are you on the Great Lakes or do you get storms from those? I've only seen a few photos of that part of the country, but it looks so beautiful but hear it's COLD in winter.

We got a little snow, it's still sleeting some, but should move on out. The wind can be terrible, that's for sure.

I'm just at the opposite end of the great lakes
I sometimes get lake effect snow. But not like the UP.
It snowed yesterday, around 3 inches
