Kept 4 put of the 8 that hatched in November...I kept all the satin silkies. They are just gorgeous! And not sure if I'm learning more and getting better or if it's these cuties but their personality are each amazing!
Meet the girls!
Zoey.. started out solid black and quickly got white lace (not sure what it is actually called)

Josie...such a timid little cutie and always hangs around her brother Joey!

They look adorable!! I LOVE Zoeys coloring, and her lacing on her forehead aren't the polkies just so soft? I notice some lacing on Betty too, dark brown on black, so its hard to see. Your babies are so sweet

They sure are soft!
Polkies? Now I'm confused...are satins the same as polkies?

They're polkies first, then satins after breeding back to silkies several generations. But people interchange the terms too (so many terms )

It's the curse that hits all of us!!! Not to mention whatever you mix a silkie or polish with comes out beautiful!!

Several hatches and learning soooo much!
But what I have learned the most is if I don't have a goal to work toward, I tend to go carazy!
So today is one of bitter sweet as I rehomed my precious Josie. Gorgeous little girl! Prettier than I could have ever imagined!!! Shy and timid but such a cuddler!
Josie I will definitely miss you!!!
