thankfully my roos are too busy with their own hens to be interested in the ducks or goose. My huge Muscovy drake is scared of my bantam game roo.

Haha, same here. Although my gander will act like he's tough until he realizes my roo isn't scared of him.

Not at all. Their hiss is scarier than their bite.

Ironically that's why I got my gander. Haha I thought he'd be a good companion and protector for my ducks after their mate got taken. Too be fair though I haven't had any predator attacks on my birds since... besides a chicken that my dogs got, but she wasn't supposed to be outside. I think she followed my dad out of the coop and he didn't notice.

They are pretty good deterrents for flying preds but preds with teeth not so much never let down your guard.

Yes, that is what I've learned. But I figure it's better to have a good warning system than none at all.
