In about a weeks time, note the roots sprouting from the Marigold only. This is just in water with no Rootex hormone. Interesting.Marigolds sure are easy to propagate as I have Just Learned.

in the pictures they sure look yellow, thats why i asked but it might be the pictures that are causing the yellow or angleGiven "vert" means green in French, my guess is green
There are two color varieties. One is yellow and one is green. The yellow ones have a greenish hue when young, but will be more yellow with green when on the vine a little longer.
thank you, thought i was seeing things on the yellow, might have to try those next year, getting hard to bend over to pick beans when i plant a long row, which i forget from year to year, tend to go crazy when planting
