Gardening for Old Folks (Adaptative)

Hmm, maybe you and Sharron should move to Vermont, apparently they are native! Certainly not on the invasives list and you can buy them at nurseries.
no thank you bruce, don't even think i've ever seen foxglove and i said i didn't plant it cause it was invasive

Foxglove is "poisonous" to cats, dogs and humans. It is where digitalis came from.
The flowers bloom off a tall spiky stem and form neat "cups" that kids like to put on their fingers - like the fingers of a glove. Only the digitalis compounds can be absorbed through the skin and too much will stop your heart.
I will stick with flowers that won't kill me.

Almost salad time.

Nope, I do not put onions in a salad. I have had ripe Gold Nugget tomatoes all winter.
for me its not a salad without onions and tomatoes, so i'm jealous of the gold nuggets. maybe one day i can have them in the winter but mine are just patio tomatoes and just getting nice size but still green, sigh
