Both my Super Sauce and my Gladiator have tomatoes on them but aren't close to being ripe yet. I like Gladiator because it is resistant to blossom end rot.i took your suggestion and bought the super sauce and the gladiator , nice plants and have tomatoes on them,
the same with me, this is a weird year, i bet i had over fifty tomatoes come up volunteer, maybe more, i've pulled a lot of them up and threw away, and still more coming up, some i left to see what they are, probably the peach's . i even had three come up in a flower pot quite a ways away from the garden , either the birds spread them or something is going onBoth my Super Sauce and my Gladiator have tomatoes on them but aren't close to being ripe yet. Clearly I need a greenhouse or high tunnel! I have a couple of flowers on my tomato plants.Won't be much longer.
Chili peppers take forEVERRRRRR!!!!It is probably the same with the chili peppers. Most of the kinds I checked on are at least 100 to 120 days to maturity. Those numbers are considered to start counting from the day they are transplanted.
I started a jalapeno pepper early. It is loaded with peppers and some are ready to pick.Chili peppers take forEVERRRRRR!!!!
Those are wonderful! I’ve found jalapeños to be pretty darn reliable even in my climate if I have big plants to put in the ground.I started a jalapeno pepper early. It is loaded with peppers and some are ready to pick.
