I squirted Great Stuff into the valve stem of the inner tube.

That is certainly an "off label" use for it! Not sure how you get the foam to uniformly spread through the tube.

I assume you tried something like "Slime" but it didn't work?

I cut 45 skapes this morning,
going to try my first attempt at making pesto. going to freeze it in ice cube trays. not going to get real fancy with the recipe. just adding olive oil and sending it through the blender.
I got a call two hours ago.
My tractor is coming home today.
it has been at the fixit shop for seven months.

I was laughing before I got to the punch line. I knew what was coming.
I have seen guys foam around door jambs and window frames, and then not be able to open them.

Too many people don't know that there are different expansion grades of the foam. They market a low expansion foam for around doors and windows.

Personally, I don't put the trim on until after the foam is dry and cut off any excess.

same here, I don't pump all the foam in at one time, either.
when i installed the direct set windows in my sunporch, I just foamed all twelve of them in with foam, didn't use any fasteners.
they are still in after 30 years..
