I would think they would just go over the fence anyway. The whitetail jump my 4 ft e chicken net fence.....or stick their head in and strangle themselves.

The bucks can jump it because it is only 6' tall. The fawns can't jump it so the does don't jump it and it is just a little tall for them.

I watched one doe jump into the top of the fence multiple times before she managed to roll over it.

The bucks see no point in jumping it because there are no does inside the fence.

This is 2"x4"x6' welded wire so no way for them to stick their heads through.

the heavy snow missed us. it rained and then snowed
just a little bit. just enough to show the wild cat tracks
up to the back door. He must have smelled the turkey bones
setting on top of the dumpster. He loves turkey.
I only wish he liked cottontails a little more..
