Here is a good side view. I thought a Roo would have more of a white chest? First time Sussex owner. Thanks to all for their replies. But, no questions about comb, waddle, large leg and developing spur. I just hate to give him up, beautiful bird.

You can see some saddle feathers growing, looks pointed to me, comb is large but the coloration is male in my opinion.

When you say "coloration". Exactly, what do you see. Tail feathers I'm guessing. Still learning the breed. I wish, I didn't have to be concerned about sex. Should had purchased that hobby farm when I had the chance or move back home (Sweet Carolina).

There is some green colored looks like pointed saddle feathers. Here this shows the difference between a Rooster and a Hen

Looks like a cockerel to me.
