Yeah - since I have non-quakers, I didn't want to diagnose the quacking.

It might be since he is a rescue, his feathers are not as healthy. Do you know how old he Is? Maybe it is just developing?

Yeah that's a boy. He's got that boy quack. One of my drakes doesn't have the tail feather but the other two do. Maybe he's a late bloomer

My Runner sported his drake feather for his first year then when he molted he lost it and it never came back lol

Their feathers are like our hair, it falls out and new grows. His drake feather could have fallen out or maybe he’s not old enough yet, I missed his age. But yes, definitely a male! And he looks really healthy!! And lovable and squishy.

Just went back and seen he’s over a year old. It probably fell out. It should come back, but even if it doesn’t there’s nothing wrong with him.
