Hi,
I have raised 6 chickens of pure and crossed breeds of Plymouth Rock and Rhode Island Red. Here are their pictures. I am sure no.1 is hen and no.6 is roo. Can you tell the sex of chickens no. 2, 3, 4 and 5?

I agree. Would have been nice to know how old they are but most are pretty clear
#1 is a pullet
#2 - This is the questionable one. The comb and wattles look kind of red but how old it is. I don't see pointy saddle or hackle feathers. Legs look kind of heavy. This one looks like a pure barred rock. With that darker coloring that could be a girl. This one could go either way but I lean to boy.
#3,4,5,6 - Boys

Thank you 😭 I will take note on no.2 and observe longer. I also noticed the legs difference boys and girls. We have to mentally prepare to let the boys go.

Yes..but I still couldn’t relate their combs and wattles to adult roosters so I wasn’t sure. Anyway, their tend-to-fight behaviours Sometimes have shown off the hackle feathers and longer/stronger legs are getting more obvious now. I guess I have gotten the final answers..
