Because Tanzania has game reserves; which I want to work in. Other countries do, too, but their game reserves are usually pretty well staffed and in South Africa, for example, they have an overabundance of some wildlife such as Elephants and Lions.
In Tanzania, they have less exotic Veterinarians and more vulnerable wildlife as well as critically endangered species native to Eastern Africa such as the Black Faced Impala. I want to work in a game reserve to treat and preserve wild populations and Tanzania is a good place to do that because they have populations that need help as opposed to overpopulation that is dealt with by culling and contraception.
Additionally, Tanzania is a bit more stable than Kenya and has more game reserves than Kenya. Rwanda is in the middle of a Civil War and genocide, Burundi has a corrupt government, Sudan, and South Sudan are out of the question.
Ultimately, it's process of elimination with East African Countries as well as supply and demand for veterinarians within the country.

You know, I can’t believe I didn’t think of this earlier, but have you heard of the YouTube channel vetclinicgambia? It’s this German vet who lives in.. well, the gambia. He mostly does TNR, it’s very interesting and he’s hilarious. Might be up your alley.

You’re sweet lol. I was hoping this would turn out better. I’m still figuring out how to work with watercolor AND ink.. so far it’s always a muddy mess halfway through.
