The only other bird the breeder has that are white with blue shanks is the Canadian Bresse. She is already bigger than the actual Light Sussex Cockerels

Sounds like a Bresse, they are famous for blue shanks. Try making money by selling her instead of culling her. You could actually make a bit of money.

I am a fan of white chickens. So crisp looking when clean. But not at my own farm of course. Lavenders with their scruffy feathers are nightmarish, and whites can only be a little better because of their good feather quality, they'll still get stained.
Not a fan of Bresse though.
