So, I’m constantly looking for the prettiest chickens ever since I started practicing watercolor again. So far the prettiest hen I found was an EE, and I can’t remember what the rooster was. I save BYC member’s pretty chickens in my phone like a weirdo lol.
If y’all have chickens kinda like these, I’d love to see them hehe. The colors are so pretty to me.

Ugh don't get me started on cat medicine measurements.....
I am giving insulin twice a day this week to a cat and let me tell you that getting 1.5mL of insulin is not an easy task. And the needle is basically microscopic!

Indeed! I had a great pet sitting gig when I was in college - the diabetic cats were the worst. Honestly, finding a miserable cat hiding in a closet and having to stick it subcutaneously with a tiny needle twice a day... sheesh. I'd put the thing down. None of them that I cared for could even handle being touched. Seemed like it actually hurt them.

Sorry, that was random lol. I was looking up “deathlayers” and the selling point was their beauty. Elegant for sure, I dunno if it’s worth the hype though..

My Ameraucana roo over Australorp hen makes the prettiest pattern. She is interestingly gypsy faced, but doesn't have a great egg color.

Gosh. Those colors. What does PR mean? Lol I am not good with chicken breeds.

Maybe when I get better at painting chickens, I’ll actually offer commissions on here. Is that even allowed?
