Melanotic(Ml) and Pg(pattern gene) are the genes responsible for the lacing found on your laced wyandotte, they are melanizers, thats why your chicks look very black, they may end up almost black depending on what other genes where hidden on the white silkie side

OMG... his quite the charmer... he is developing just as I thought.... just to give you a heads up, he will have slate/green shanks as he matures
