Hello All,

I am becoming educated in sustainable principals.

Creating local resources to be shared among one another sounds like a great thing.

I am now in Albany, GA. I have just joined BYC today and this will be my first thread. I hope it will be an on-going and valuable resource for all enthusiasts in this area.

I now have a good place to begin again in starting a few breeds. First is to build the houses and secure the yard. I plan to start with brown and darker egg layers. (Delaware, Copper Marans, Welsummer,).

I am new to the area and I am looking for good friends and resources.

In passing I heard someone speak of crossing a Rohde Island Red Roo with a Delaware to produce a Silver Star, Super Layer! Does anyone have an opinion about this.

I am in search of quality breeders in our area. I would love to hear from all that are interested in sharing resources here locally.

Peace,
broody
