DH asked me about egg size, and I realize I have no idea with this line- are we to expect a large egg? My first line Del lays jumbo size and DH and my MIL are spoiled.

Beth, I got a fairly large egg from one of the NH pullets yesterday. Seems like they went from pullet size to the "normal store' size faster than the other girls. I don't know how large they are suoopsed to get though.

Well, i just saw 6 eggs from Kathy birds bring 110 bucks , we just had ham and eggs from the new hamps i got from Kathy. So i guess it was a very expensive dinner!! I was planning to sell eggs and chicks this spring,but maybe i should get after it now.

Its amazing, isn't it? I am glad people want quality, though, and that the NH breed will get a boost from this.
