i gave an ekg machine a vendor of mine got as a trade in to the local hospital and the doctor cried.

Before we went to live in the Phils, we stocked up on antibiotics courtesy of our insurance co-pay. We doled out over 400 Cipro 400 Augmentin and 20 Z-packs to our neighbors in the first year. It was the best 500 dollars we spent.

while I was there last time there was an uproar in manila because the main hospital for the indigent started charging up front for xrays and lab work. when our son was hospitalized with pnuemonia when he was two weeks of age we had to pay 800 dollars up front for medications, room and board (actually that was the best money I spent) 600 of it went to drugs

I didn't mean to sound like you offer nothing to the community, I never doubted that. It was a method I considered may be possible to stem the flow of poaching. I don't know the scale of theft, but was thinking giving some could lessen the theft of much.

I know here, in some rural communities, dealing with the elders 'gets things done.' The good will gesture would be in addition to reducing lost stock. If the community does not work with that style hierarchy then it would just men they get one free chicken and still pinch two.

Fair bump, play on!

Its all good

but what the heck is happening in the ashes?

Ugh.....best to leave the Ashes one alone hahahaha.

New young bloke Agar has done pretty well for himself though. Good on the young fella, now classed as an all rounder when he was brought in as a left spinner and no. 11 batsman. Hit a 98 in his debut.

Oh...and we still don't have a single egg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
