Well, yes, but there are degrees of "large." My Brahmas are LF, but so are my Dominiques, so I thought you might have something more specific you were aiming for. Or maybe you're just aiming to make the biggest silkies you can and keep moving them toward faster-growing/bigger birds. Your big guy sure looks like top of his class to me.

My goal is to make them at least 10lbs, or more, & make them stand 2½ feet tall, or possibly taller.
Yes, fast growing is good, & he sure is quite a fast grower.

He's alittle over 17 inches tall now.
 
I'm just impressed he stood still at all! I'm pretty sure none of mine would. That's seriously tall for a youngling like him! :love
He's certainly taller then the EEs that are about a few days younger then him.
 
He's so tall! And so fancy looking, I honestly want a Silkie/Brahma mix now, even if it isn't a full giant silkie. I can't breed though-no roosters allowed, and I'm sure I'd mess up while incubating eggs.
