He's so tall! And so fancy looking, I honestly want a Silkie/Brahma mix now, even if it isn't a full giant silkie. I can't breed though-no roosters allowed, and I'm sure I'd mess up while incubating eggs.
I'd hatch you a couple if you would be able to get them. But I don't think you'd be able too though.

He'll be making me Giant Silkies, I just need to back cross him to my largest Silkie hens.

That's a wonderful offer, but I definitely wouldn't be able to get them. I've been wondering: how many chickens do you have? You seem to have them all XD those are such pretty silkies! I would get silkies but they're too fancy for me, and I don't really have enough space for bantams and standards to coexist peacefully.

I started out with a flock of 12, which was many many years ago.

We have now well over 70, or so birds in 3 different coops. There's too many to count  . 12 are meat birds which be going to the freezer soon, including 9 turkeys, & 5 Guineas, & 3 EE cockerels.

Wow...that's a lot of birds. *is insanely jealous* The max I can have at the moment is 6, and I'm starting with 3. Hopefully in the future I'll be able to get a larger property so I have space for all the chickens, however I was planning to limit myself to 10 at a time. That might change though...I don't know if I can resist temptation!

Hopefully your dream will be full filled someday.

There is no such thing as *n* chickens. It is always *n* + a "few". :gig :ya

Oh, yeah. My Project Giant Silkie boy is only 2 months old, & is already practicing crowing, & started trying to breed.
