Girls vs Girls

I liked pigeons. I don't know why so many folks are so neutral to such a friendly non judgmental bird.
I know! But they are annoying, they poop on EVERYTHING. Theres this guy at my moms work (well where they used to rent their old work at- they bought a place now) who was like "Their preeeetty..." and would feed them, and they would get poo EVERYWHERE. And Richard (a guy i know) traps pigeons to use for training his hunting dog (kills them during winter ) So im gonna ask if i can hold one if he gets any this year :/ he hasnt had a much luck traping this year ! Cause then maybe if i learn enough (about rasing and all,) my dad will build the same setup he has ( a rectangle box with mesh to keep them in and wire on the bottom and a roost in the middle- keeps bout 7) so i could have some that just will live outdoors in winter (or maybe with the quail, LOL)

Cochin, here's a pic of that dance for you :P
(And you too marty  Funnier when you see it in motion)

This is not my pic.
It's a really good pic, though.

LOL! AWESOME!!

Heres a dark eyed junco (dunno if youve seen one)
They have 2 white stripes on their tail which is a tell tale sign, but you can only see if their flying, and they are mostly ground dwellers

I have a plan to friendlyize either a camp robber or raven
Camp robber- > Their also known as grey jays, and we have 3 living around our house - 2 adults and their kid. We learned that the strongest chick of its clutch will live w/ the parents in their territory, but i dunno if it switches per clutch

Aww, the junco is cute!!
I've never seen either of those birds before. There isn't a great variety in Adelaide, we got many more birds in England.
I love these:

(Wow, these pics are all so good. Why can't I take good pictures?! :lau)

Aww.... bye marty !!

Oh and to see how big dark eyed juncos are
Hes pretty plumped up, and ive NEVER seen a dark eye junco look like this, but their bout half the size
I could also tame a magpie (bout the size of a grey jay but has a thinner build) but those are more near anchorage

Heres a STUNNING pic
Have you seen a raven or crow? The magpie, raven, grey jay, and crow are all relatives and are EXTREMELY smart ! (With raven being the smartest, magpie coming second, grey jay third and crow last - this is based on my observations)

If you want i can get some pics, theres 2 types of crows (Chihuaha crow and American crow- i think theres only one ravne? Or maybe theres the Chihuaha raven?)

Awwwwwwww at the picture of stroking the junco. That is one of the most adorable pictures I've ever seen. :P

But a very big bird.
The one I posted is a blue tit. You can also get green and yellow, but blue is the most common.

yes, I've seen magpies and ravens and crows. They have those here, lol.
English and Australian magpies are very different though. I was shocked at first o-o

So, its the ChihuahAN raven, and i think theres 3 breeds of ravens

The thick billed raven (dear lord help me!!)

Common raven

And chihuahan Raven (i think these are the smartest- but they have found ravens from different parts are smaller and bigger or know how to use tools and for what etc etc) Maybe with the white spot???

Oh and theres the white winged raven, but it just has white tips on its wings (crow looks the same but is smaller and scruffier)

WOW!! The first one is insane :lau
I've never seen anything like him before.
I only know one type of raven. The black type. :P
