But a very big bird.
The one I posted is a blue tit. You can also get green and yellow, but blue is the most common.
yes, I've seen magpies and ravens and crows. They have those here, lol.
English and Australian magpies are very different though. I was shocked at first o-o

LOL! Before i saw what you said, i was like "OMG THATS AN UGLY MAGPIE!!!!"

Lol, my internet is slow so I cant see what you post until i finish posting what i say, LOL.

I didn't know Anchorage was a place! Someone gifted me a howrse named Anchorage.

I don't go to the zoo much. I'm not a big fan of zoo animals, only birds. :P
I think crows are cool. Kind of. ish.

What/do types of eagles do you have in Aussie? (if you dont mind me calling it that, LOL) Down in Valdez (near the ocean) you can see SO many bald eagles, and we once had one sail like 4 feet above our head trying to get away from a seagull harrasing it!!
ep.gif
And down there they have these sqaure metal things where you can gut fish and put the guts under it so their in the water but dont float away, and eagles and seagulls go down and get water logged and die!!! :( but i rescued a seagull once, and then when i was explaining it to my grandma later in the day, i saw ANOTHER one who needed to be saved (i had a net- before 2 guys used a gabber and a pitch fork LOL) and my grandma wouldnt let me! My friend told me about the eagles- youd think the SYMBOL of the USA would get a little more attention for wanting to be saved

Sorry i just love eagles...

LOL

Aww, that's pretty sad.
But eagles are very nice.
I have absolutely no idea what types of eagles you get in Australia. There aren't any here in the city, but we often see golden-coloured ones when we are hiking at Mt Lofty.

Have you ever seen a red winged black bird? (male) Ooooh they are SO pretty, (another relative of magpies grey jays ravens and crows) , cause i looked them up at my grandmas house cause the males were being SO annoying about their territories, and then one year (my grandma hates them... i like 'em) i saw one chasing off a RAVEN!!
ep.gif
If you dont know the size difference, either search it on youtube or imagine, for example, a crow being chased off by one of those blue tits !!

lmao. That was hilarious :lau
I actually cannot imagine a blue tit chasing anything away.

That's pretty impressive though.
We get a lot of blackbirds in the garden - it's rare to see them, but you can hear them chuckling from beneath the grape vines. :P

depending on the light they can look golden like

. You'd be amazed, up in cities like NewYork, they have some hawks and all thriving, shocking really, i think they survive on the never ending supply of pigeons
