Sort of. They're very high in the trees though, so all you can really see is a couple of talons and a feathery shape or a faint silhouette.
But a bit lighter than that, I'd say. It wasn't sunny when we went hiking that time. (Hiking up Mt Lofty in direct sunlight is a big ask )

The pigeons! Oh, I love pigeons... what a hoot.

There are too many big cities in the US I've never heard of before. I was trying to list all the ones I knew the other day. I got to about 15 and gave up.
In Australia there are only about ten.

As for blackbirds that we get, they are just the common garden ones. Males are all black, females are brown and spotty.

All i can say is i know for a FACT that they live in Aussie cause in school we each had to choose a habitat and i got savanna, and i wanted to do unuasal things so i did not choose a SINGLE one from Africa, but all from australia (i had to look up a habitat map and on the book i was usuing make sure it was in the right area!

) I had to use this bald eagle i had that my BFF who lives in NC gave me, cut the tail, and paint it, then ilost it!!

(we had to make like a diaroma )

Fort Lauderdale's in Florida. I just thought that was an awesome name, so I remember it.
