Which is it? Because i'm one or the other.
We currently have 3 cats, one of which is a ninja-pisser. She pees on things. You may not find out what she peed on for some time, but you'll find out when you most need said thing to NOT smell like a cat brothel. I see employment as a barn cat in her future.
2 dogs, a lab-aussie mix (idiot dog, but lovable) and a doberman.
3 fish tanks.
A kitchen full of chickens, with more on the way Tuesday.
Ducks coming in April.
2 kids under 10.
A roommate who has the patience of Job.
And this , which i'm picking up tomorrow. He's been re-christened Muddy.
What the h3ll is wrong with me? I'm a sucker, that's what. He's been in the shelter for several months, with no prospects. They've lowered his adoption fee, which means his time is almost up. I went to see him a couple of weeks ago, and haven't been able to stop thinking about him since.
We have to get a dog run built or i'm going to have to start sleeping outside.

edited for spelling.

We had issues with out cats peeing everywhere at our previous home, I think honestly the people who lived there before had a dog or something peeing everywhere and our cats could smell it... we also had lots of strays that could be seen by our indoor cats, and that probably also caused the peeing everywhere.......
since we moved, they ONLY go in their box, its AMAZING!

good luck wiht the new dog - he looks really pretty!

I used to be that way in my younger days. Always had a house full. Now the combination of being too tired for constant housecleaning and my SO the country boy that believes animals belong outside has thinned the inside animals down to one....Charlie girl (she stays real quiet and knows she's lucky).

Good luck with the new family member.

That's just it! Shouldn't I be calming down at my age? I had 9 cats (mostly strays that came over to eat) when I was in my 20s, but it's like NOW i'm a big grown up lady and I can do what I want. Nyah.
I think I have an inherent need to clean up after someone/thing. That has to be it.

I went thru that when I was (much) younger: 3 kids under the age of 6, plus 14 outside dogs, 4 cats, 20 chickens, 10 geese, 7 ducks, 4 goats, 2 hamsters, 3 birds, a tank full of gold fish and my 3 beloved Dachshunds! I loved it but don't think I have the energy for all that stuff now. Dixie

Oh I have 4 horses, 7 cows, 20 something chickens, lots of fish, a bird, 2 cats, a duck, and a hamster
