GLW roo? Pics included

I have 8 GLW and 7 SLW that are 8w old. One of my GLW is about an inch taller than the others at the back. S/he also has muvh larger wattles.

The two on the left are what all 14 others look like. You can see the large wattles on the right.

I guess I should mention that I have crossed finger that it IS a roo! Te husband ended up liking the chickens more than anticipated, so we would love to raise our own for meat!

I think it's a roo! You can tell a big difference in their colorations, and i was just reading this post for slw's and it shows how the black ring around their neck probably indicates roo... https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/...r-laced-wyandotte-bantams/0_100#post_11080631

That was an interesting thread! I'm thinking it is a roo, but the back feathers are not pointed, as far as I can tell. They are only 8wks, so I bet we will know more in a week or so!

Ya it takes a while for "true" saddle/hackle feathers to come in...you could always go searching for pin feathers though!
