100% they are just 6 months old so i bet there is alot they aren't used to. The farm I got them from had tons of other goats but they were all separated into pens of 4 or 5 and I didn't see other animals so you may be right about that.

My goats were scared of my cat for the longest time. They came from a farm with chickens and turkeys and dogs, but no cats.

Hey goatie folks!
I have a question for you all about vaccine storage/shelf life.
Its CD&T time for my boys. I only have two, so I had plenty leftover last year and popped the vial in the back of the fridge. The vial says to use all contents at once, but I'm curious if you all know if that's strictly true. (In the past, I've always just bought a new one every year and tossed the remainder)
Anyways, the vial took two pokes last year and has been refrigerated since... is it still good?

Hmmm.... I don't know. My vet does my girls' vaccines (I don't trust myself to do it- lol). I don't like to eff around with vaccines, though. Let's see what others say.

I always buy new each year. I may keep one bottle for 2-3 months throughout kidding season, but I have so many does and new kids due that I usually go through at least 2 bottles anyway.
