Going to ask her tonight

Ok Ok I'll cave.............. dude just go get some beer and pizza then call over some of the boy's for a poker night................ after all it is New Years eve............. why waste a good saturday night. Make the best of a bad situation. I am sure she will understand. Just don't forget to check on her every few hours and see if she is Ok.

She is sick, doesn't feel good, looks like well not her best, and she probably ain't in all that good a mood. Go to plan B.

Geez Al, and to think you had the gall to call the Scots cavemen!

Al is the original 'caveman', and he is really on a roll tonight.

I don't mean to intrude but I have read all thirteen pages and been married for twenty four years so I feel I am qualified to comment. It took me a while to learn but I have learned that "the woman is always right", however no one can't tell me that if two women have a dissagreement --Is one of them wrong. But any way here is my advice, I hear the ladies telling you to be sweet and nice which under normal circumstances is the thing to do. But in this instance you are dealing with a female who does not feel well. Under the best conditions you being a male will fall short of her ideal proposal, but when she is sick you don't stand a chance. Knowing that it does't matter what you decide.

I shortened your original post to highlight the obviously important part.

What she said. You want her to remember it! Or..................do you need her in a weakened condition to get a yes out of her??

Laree outed you on the new years hatch thread, had to come check out out.

Got to say when I am sick I just want to be left alone - no hovering, cooing or back-patting appreciated. 18 years? It can wait a little longer if she is a let-me-be-sick-alone kind of gal. Good luck

it really depends on how sick she is.....

Is she praying to the porcelain gods?
talking on the porcelain telephone?
tossin chunks?

(ok you get the point)

Or does she have an unsettled tummy?

if its the first... then yes hold off.. no sense dropping the ring in the toilet...

but if she just has a wee bit of an upset tummy she may not have wanted to have a big dinner...
