Just being a good allround supportive guy is all. She will be there when he get's back right.......... what's the problem ??. I already made some of the best suggestions yet, so I thought I'd hit a homer and suggest a more manly approach.

I think that if you feel the time is right you should ask her even if she isn't feeling well.

BUT you should say something like, "I know you aren't feeling well so why don't you think it over and tell me your answer when you are up to it."

Then you have made your move!!!! If you don't do it now you never know- something else, and something else, and something else might come up.

(and then she can say that you proposed on New Year's Eve and even took care of her the whole time)
