I have a G-L-W hen and she has spurs! I never noticed it until she was five years old!
Do you have any hens with spurs? This will teach me not to sex them by the feet!

can you show me a pic of them? it is best to feather sex them when they are day-week olds. It may just be a smal bud which all chickens have. I have also heard of females turning into males if there is no rooster in the flock. Very Very rare though.

when did you sex her and where. Unless she is ;aying eggs, she could have been sexed wrong. her comb also looks like a male.

No, she's laying eggs. It's just she was always a nimble hen as well.
We actually don't really sex them, but when they get into a NASTY, NASTY fight,
we know. (AS A BABY) She never really fought, just pecked.

Sometimes hens grow small spurs. If she stops laying or crows then she went through a hormonal sex change. (Its a thing)

Okay, Thanks for the advice! I think I just learned a lot! Have a good night!
