I see. It's good, but are you sure it is broken? Could she have been stung by something? Did you see something happen to her that makes you think it is broken? Could she have something stuck in her foot? If there is no wound and nothing stuck in her foot, I would slow down - do what you are doing by keeping her separated and quiet and give her a little time. Good nursing care. As another poster mentioned, if it is broken, she is stabilizing it herself - with your help - by not using it. If there is something stuck in it or a wound, you need to take care of that.

I did reply. It could be a sprain - which would heal with on its own. Leg out of joint - more serious problem, but without a veterinarian's care, again you can't do anything for that except what you are already doing.

Did you see what happened to her?
