GOLF

One problem I have been having is that on the back swing, when I get to the top my right arm over powers my left and pulls my left shoulder out of socket... Any of you had shoulder issues from golfing?? It hasn't been so bad since I slowed way down, I know I am way too armsy but I can't seem to program myself not to do it. The first couple of swings I seem to do it every time...

You may want to try "The Natural Swing".
It's sort of like holding a baseball bat with a different stance.
I see the adverts on TV sometimes at 0300 AM etc...
May even find it on the net somewhere.

I use a sort of hybrid swing. Looks really weired but I'm accurate and get about average distance. I get over not having Happy Gilmore distance by being able to place my shots.
Like to aim for the yard markers at the driving range. I love the sound, "whack"..pause.."Pang!".
You get really funny looks when you do it three or four times in a row. When I do that I'll just hand the remaining bucket of balls to someone and say, "I forgot I have an appointment..." and walk off. Too Funny!
(Mind you, it don't happen very often)

Are you talking about that club with the hinge in the middle that will break and whack you in the posterior if your back swing is wrong?

I searched it and came across moenormangolfacademy.org

I think I see what you meant by natural swing now... I think I'll plunk around on that site for a while and see what I can come up with. It looks pretty interesting so far...

The next time you go play, Don't use anything with a number smaller than 5. Use a 5 or 7 wood to tee off with and a 5 iron through your wedges. They are easier to hit due to more loft, you won't be hitting the ball no 250 yards but you will get to scoring better.

There is also lots of golf instruction on youtube.
