I have another question that I hope you can also help me with. I have two geese sitting, and one started on March 16th. I would like to take some of these eggs and incubate them at lockdown time because I have them sold. I think it would be less traumatic than taking chicks away from her. When do you think would be a good time to do this, and what temp/humidity should it be set at?
I'm doing the exact same thing with taking the eggs from the brooding goose. So if she started on the 16th they should hatch on either the 14th or 15th of April so I would say grab them on either the 10th or 11th of April since you don't need to turn the eggs anymore at that stage and they will only need heat.
Try and encourage her to get off her eggs and keep her busy to so you can go in and grab the eggs
