And what are the exact dosing instructions the vet gave you? Are you giving pills or liquid?

If pills, what mg are the pills?
If liquid, how many mg per ml (mg/ml)?
The vet told me to give her a 48kg dose every second day. It is liquid and says that you should give 0.1 mg meloxicam/kg of body weight
 
Can you post a picture of the bottle and her directions?

Hello again. I brought my goose to an avian vet recently for her bad leg. During this visit they manipulated the joint to get good x-rays. They then sent us home telling us her foot would be sore for a day or two. The next day one toe was considerably swollen, hot and red. It has now been almost a month and her toe is still the same. We started her on an antibiotic last week along with tramadol for the pain however still no improvement. Any ideas on what might be wrong.
