Henny my babies are fine! One is growing faster then the other even tho the little one eats alot more! I love this time of the year
Yeah, well, you guessed a few of my females as being males, so maybe Henny´s is the same, a tomboy.I do hope she´s a she.
p.s. only thing that I´m thinking is the colour of the down. If it´s an embden and it has pale down, then it could be a boy, as you know, of course, but then I thought that this one is smaller (I think?) and quiet, which doesn´t sound like boy embden.

has patchy markings. Darkest on her back and on top of her head, yellow everywhere else except her wing tips and a patch on her chest which are almost white.
here is one of my fav. Geese ! She lets me hold her goslings and everything! She is an toulouseXchinese and is 9 years old and is setting on 11 eggs and i let her sit on that many because shes a professional brooder (brooding all her life!) her mate is an greylagXembden so these will be F2 babies !
Last year she hatched 9 babies from 10 eggs but one died and i sold 7 of her babies

But the most important thing right now, is Moose has a friend. And if they both do turn out to be ganders, then you´ll just have to get them a couple of girlies next year!That's the spirit.
