Here we got mid 80's last week, this week pushing 90's and needing AC at night.

Maybe a dumb question but here goes.. Got 5 goose eggs in the bator, on day 24.. Will they completely fill the shell as chicken eggs do? I can still see a bit of fluid at pointy end of egg...Air cells look good...

It's amazing what you're doing for your neighbor Starfire! Really shows what great moral character you have. I wish I had money! I would definitely donate. I've always said that even if I was rich, I wouldn't be because there are so many out there that need help, I'd just end up giving it all away!

I know how hard getting thru Cancer can be....I'm going crazy waiting to find out if I'm cured or not. If the way I feel is any indication...I'm in big trouble! I'd give anything to go back in time and tell my younger self how important it is to take care of yourself and to live as healthy a lifestyle as possible. I SO wish I had the strength and energy I did when I was younger. I'm only 40 now but feels more like 80!

Thanks, I think we could learn a lesson from the movie Pay it Forward. If we all just helped someone in need, the world would have a lot less people diving from hunger or being homeless. But I think you are giving me too much credit to be honest. I can be selfish sometimes, though I am working on that fault and a few others too.

Well guys I am off for bed early tonight. I caught 3 feral cats and have to get up early to get them to my rescue group for shots and spay/neuter. I think all 3 are boys, and there are still 3 more ferals that I know of to catch, 2 females and 1 unknown. I really wish I had caught the females so they would stop popping out kittens!

Ive been MIA for a few days...long story... :/

8 days until my gossies hatch, all are still looking strong. Hopefully next week will be a happier one, with them hatching
Maggie came off the nest today for a bite of food and i was able to count her eggs, she has 5, originally i thought it was 8 but i was in a hurry and didnt crawl inside the doghouse. 5 is better than 8.
Ethel started a new nest, found it by accident she has 4, im not sure if i will let her brood if she goes broody.
The donkey still has not foaled but it is getting closer, i believe she is playing the "lets see how many times i can run my owner to the barn before she goes insane" game. The average for a donk is 12 mos but they can and will go 14 mos. With my luck i will probably be delivering a baby donk and hatching gossies at the same time.
By then i will probably be insane and bald from pulling my hair out.

I appreciate your prayers and all the kind words. I love that movie btw! You're so right....if we all had the attitude of "Pay it forward", the world would be such a better place! And maybe you can be selfish at times, after all, we're only human, but what you're doing for your neighbor, not many would do! You're obviously a great person!

Yeah, I reckon you´ll do fine with your two...I have just a suspicion that Moose is a girl, so that´d make it ok whatever MMMM turns out to be.

Ha ha ha :-D Moose probably is a girl. They are always the opposite of what I think they are. I'm even calling Mmmmm, Mini Moose now. Poor goose will have a complex!
Well broody abandoned her 3 eggs but not before cracking one and scattering them all over! Now she just wanders around doing the broody cluck or climbing into nest boxes with another hen as if to say, "Hurry up and lay! I wanna sit on it!". So I'm holding off on getting more eggs.

Woke up to happy surprises in the incubator this morning! The ducklings came out of khaki campbell eggs, so I guess I need to have a serious sit down talk with my cayuga boys! Any guesses as to gosling? I have Embden/Chinese, Embden, Toulouse, Toulouse/Chinese, and one African/Embden, and one Seb/tufted roman. I like these kinds of mornings and Reece the Terrible finally has a buddy!
