Got us a rooster among our hens

I can’t complain... in 5 different visits to the feed store we purchased pullets just days old. I got one rooster among 15 hens. Honestly, I was only interested in getting hens. But as time passed by I can truly say that we love him dearly and will keep him. He’s 5 mons old... I forgot what his breed is! Anyone know?
He’s not in the coop, he has his own bachelor pad.

He was getting mean towards them. Especially the younger ones that I was slowly introducing to the run.

I agree. Unless if he’s rough with the hens, then he should be with them. It would make him very happy.

He's an EE. Why are you keeping him from his harem?

I think he should be with the hens as well. They usually sort themselves out.
It can look a bit rough, but he's not even a rooster yet. He has to learn.

He’s super happy. He spends a lot of time out and in our arms. He meets n greets our guest too! We are in the planning stages of building an enclosed henhouse with a bigger run. Do you think it would be. Good if’s to try to reintroduce him?
