Gourd/Squash/Pumpkin Seed Swap

I want to play too!!

I've got a BUNCH of different kinds of pumpkins waiting to be processed... going to have to see if I can identify the right names on all of them... and see which have mature seeds in them.

I've got:
neck pumpkin (yellow)
neck pumpkin (green and yellow)
small pie pumpkin
flat red pumpkin
flat gray warted pumpkin
white mini-pumpkins
orange mini-pumpkins
orange/white/yellow stripped mini-pumpkins
mid-sized round jackolantern pumpkin
yellow pear-shaped winter squash (don't think this is a pumpkin)
orange pear-shaped warted winter squash (don't think this is a pumpkin)
half-and-half gourds yellow/green gourds
small warty round gourds
maybe a one-too-many or a cheese pumpkin too... I'll have to look. maybe a red or green hubbard winter squash, acorn squash or butternut too.

if there's anything in there you're particularly interested in, let me know.

I *love* pumpkins... can you tell?

well, we moved cross country in the middle of garden season this year, so most of these are purchased this year, but two years ago I grew everything on the list but the pear-shaped and pear-shaped warty ones... along with a BUNCH of others. I think I had 38 different kinds of pumpkin, winter squash and gourds. we had about a half or 3/4 acre in garden - maybe a third of that in pumpkins, winter squash and gourds. final harvest was two full long-bed pickup loads! I do love pumpkins!

had 22 different kinds of tomatos too, because I didn't know what I liked yet and decided to try a bunch of different kinds to see what I'd plant in the future. gave tomatos away by the 5-gallon bucket for months. but hey, now I know what varieties I like.

it was a lot of fun too... learned some important things - like even in the high desert you can grow amazing gardens, provided you have enough sheep poop and water!
