Gourd/Squash/Pumpkin Seed Swap

I think what they meant was sending a pkt for every one who signs up, so if 10 people sign up, each person sends in 9 pks (you don't have to send in a pkt for yourself). That way everyone gets at least one pkt from everyone else.

Alright. I have to set the rules and stick with them. This is getting waaaaay to confusing for everyone including me. We are going to stick with the original 6 packets. You will be sending in your envelope, 6 packets of seeds and a sase for me to return the seeds to you. Send in 6 packs, get six packs back.

That said, IF you want to send an envelope with 3-4 seeds for each participant, you are welcome to do so but I can only guarantee you to get six packets back. In the spring seed swap I did, we did have someone do that with huge pumpkins. Everyone got their six packets and a pack of three seeds for 744 lb pumpkins!!

I hope this clears it up for everyone but if you do have any questions, just let me know.

Just picked up a nice squash from the hispanic market. They had whole and cut so I got a big cut that had some nice looking flesh and big seeds - so I am at 2 different types of squash

Depending on how many seeds I have when I cut them open, I'm going to try to do a variety pack for everyone. I'm going to take a picture of each item I have and then print one letter size piece of paper with a thumbnail size picture on it of what the seeds came from and 2-3 seeds taped to it.

I got a flat blue pumpkin the other day and a small white pumpkin with green and orange in the creases.

OOOOOHHHH!!! I have been able to identify the one I got the other night. Going to taste test it this weekend. I have a bunch of seeds but if I need more, I will go back and get them. I'm so excited about this one!!!
