Count me in. I'm still not clear on how many seeds per pack!I got the 6 packs, but how many in each? Also can we send in more than one set of six? Or do I need to put my wifes name on and my kids name one, etc.

Kassaundra,

I've never tried them as an edible before but will do so next year, as long as our growing season is better than this last one!

I was able to keep most things alive through the drought and after the heat broke my garden took off, I'm still harvesting okra, tomatoes (only a few) peppers, squash (summer and winter) peas, beans, all kinds of root crops, and greens. The only items completely gone are the cukes (harvested the last today) and melons.

Okay, I'm in on this swap. Looking forward to a variety of seeds!

Louffah is great sliced thin and fried when the squash is young and tender!!

Check out the pole at the back of the garden with 8 gourds haing from the spokes. The purple Martins come every year to the five poles we have erected. Once the gourds have cured, we drill a 1.25 inch hole with a keyhole drill bit and then 6 - 8 little holes in the floor of the gourd with a 1/4 inch drill bit. Using the same bit, we drill two holes on oposite sides of the neck for attaching a wire hanger. Wear a mask to pull the dried insides out of the gourd. The dust can be irritating to some people. We then soak our gourds in stump killer dissolved in water. It takes about 15 mintues per gourd. It makes them really hard so they last a long time. We paint ours white becasue it reflects the summer sun and makes the inside cooler. Blue birds like gourds attached to the cattle panels in some of the beds in the garden.

If you are sending in the minimum 6 packs and each of those packs contain 1 variety of seed (all the packs don't have to be the same type of seed but this is if each pack has 1 variety of seed) I would say 8-10 seeds per packet.

You can signup more than once. As many times as you want. Just send in the six packs for each sign up. Right now there are 10 other people, besides you signed up, so if they all only send one type of seed, if you sign up twice, you will be getting duplicates 2 things right now. So its your call but I just wanted to make you aware.

I am going to make a packet for everyone who signs up. Ithink some others are doing this as well. It would be nice if everyone could send in a pack of what they are sending to everyone else but thats not mandatory.

My packs (one for every participant) will be a variety pack. Each packet will have 3-4 varieties with 3-4 seeds of each variety.

im tring to look for bead zip lock bags.. not the snack (might end up using those anyways) but smaller
where you think i should look.. walmart didnt have them.. i have a crafting place here that i havent look at yet.
