Granny's gone and done it again

The weeds will be there tomorrow. Sounds like a nap would be better use of your time. Well, at least more enjoyable!
Google borax ant bait (or boric acid ant bait). Cheap and easy to make and they take it back and kills the whole nest.
I have used borax, mostly on fleas. I think weed pulling is therapeutic. Husband just weed whacks. I would rather pull them and be done until the next bunch show up.

I just laid 2x4 welded wire across the top, lapping it where needed, and laid a tarp over the whole thing. I anchored the tarp all around, which holds the welded wire in place without lashing pieces together. It's all been in use for about 3 years without a problem; well, almost. Because the tarp isn't drawn taut, puddles formed....large ones....with a lot of rain. Solved that problem with a couple of "T poles" (7'-8' round fence posts, with scrap plywood screwed to the top, set on the floor of the run). The poles are longer than the sides of the run are high, so all the water runs off.
Not a fan of tarps because they deteriorate and rip. Then they leave small bits everywhere. I just would have to lash the wire together for security. I worry too much other wise.

That would work too. But i would still have to lash pieces together. I would have to get something with smaller spaces between wire. What i have is garden fencing. Don't know if that would keep the varmints out. But i do plan on using hot wire around the fence around the coop, tractor and hutch.

lol I read hot glue
