Granny's gone and done it again

I used to raise Irish Setters, so when I chose my CB handle in the early 70's, I chose Red Dog. I ran with 3 or 4 guys I'd met on the CB, & they all knew me by that. Lots of guys used nicknames in the bowling alley in town, so Red Dog just naturally followed me there, and has never changed. Most folks there call me that, and always have. I'm sure some there don't even know my actual name.

My dad was Red Carpet (the name of the place he worked.) He had a giant antenna on our roof, which was really unusual in the city-suburbs & tall antennas on both their cars. The neighbors thought we were wacked!:lau Every now & then we'd catch an owl sitting up there.... Pretty exciting stuff for a city kid!

The dishes are washed! So exciting , right? At least i don't have to dread doing them now. The day has gone from partly cloudy to clear and lovely. The workers are making a racket as usual so i closed the window. I will be so glad when they are done. I helped hubby move another shelving unit into the work shop. A lot of stuff has been moved up there. It makes the garden shed look a lot bigger.
Going to build a table to work on out of pallets up by the coop and then afterwards use it to put the water barrel on. It will help make the job of putting up siding a lot easier.

Thanks Pert! :hugsMy brains are a little scrambled from a bad bout of vertigo, but I'm starting to wonder if they weren't a little scrambled before that. :lau
Oh no. Vertigo is no good. Hope it doesn't bother you too often. A girl on another thread was experiencing it last week pretty bad also. Can't imagine how it feels. Hope I never experience it
