I probably won't get around to watching it. Have you seen Pete's dragon? The newer one? My mom made me watch it with her. She cried!

Was the new one good (I know your mom cried, but what did *you* think of it)? I just have such a soft spot for the original I'm not sure I want to see the new one.

CB just cracked his head on the mantel and I said, "Oh my **** head ". and he said No, Oh my **** head .

That's what we'd call Grade A "bonkus of the konkus"!

if you seen the first you have seen the second but still cute and lovely movie with good graphics.

Love, love, love Dory! We just watched Finding Dory while the kids were here - it was okay, but definitely not as good as Finding Nemo (though the graphics were awesome). We lovingly call DD Dory because of her TBI and resulting memory issues, and her general attitude.

Fondant is never as easy as it looks.

Nice --- I am not a fan of fondant, working with it *or* eating it, but it seems to be all you find on cakes anymore.

Ok I will take them outside tomorrow and try to take better pictures

You can probably get away with just unplugging the heat lamp and using the overhead lighting where they are.

Oh, poor CB! I remember a couple times the kids fell and konked their heads and I swear I felt it... especially on the concrete when it makes that hollow klunk sound, like a melon!

I'm so tired. Can't tell if it's from all the extra work helping my sister move or of it's the time change. I usually blame the time change, but this time I'm too tired to really notice it, just living by the clock (sort of). Sis should be done moving and cleaning tomorrow and on Wed, aunty comes and will start moving it. Probably a good thing, because if no one is living in that farmhouse, the rodents will move right in. In fact, they will do that even when someone is living there!

Old lath and plaster walls, about 12' thick... they have rodent freeways all in those walls, and up in the attic too. It's a constant battle.

I got 6 eggs yesterday! It's been warn and sunny, so guess it's turning on the production switch. I finally saw who is laying what, and my new EE (chick last spring) lays a pretty pale blue, so I was happy about that. My 5 yr old Wellie laid today too! Once a week is pretty good for her, I think.

So I was late driving over the hill to pick up #2. I was grumbling and sighing and muttering unflattering things under my breath at the car in front of me going well below the speed limit. The road is narrow, winding and steep, so no passing possible, and it was so annoying following this person.

I don't speed, but I try to go the limit. So we finally get over the hill and down the other side, and arrrgh... big sigh... of course they miss the green light onto the highway!!! Pull up behind the car and my annoyance grows because I see they have a bumper sticker. In general I am not fond of bumper stickers, because if I can read them, it means I am stuck stopped in traffic behind someone. Anyway, I pull up behind the car to wait out the long red light, and I decide to see what ridiculous propaganda this person has plastered on the a$$ end of their car. It said GOD BLESS EVERYONE (no exceptions!) How quickly can a person shrink? I felt about 2 inches tall. Think god just slapped me upside the head?

You do the real kind, mare? This is the marshmallow kind. A little softer, but not as nice looking. I ran out of supplies and time and cares to give. It was pretty tasty, though. I won't likely be doing it again any time soon. Most folks don't even eat it, just pick it off. Layered strawberry cake and funfetti. Top layer is pink-dyed funfetti with a dash of strawberry extract so I didn't have to open a fifth box.

haha patience is a virtue hard won. I get behind old grannys and grandpas and try to wonder why am I behind this person Were they put here to keep me honest , so I dont wreak today ??
